My Story

With over 8 years of diverse marketing experience, I've navigated through various sectors of the industry, honing my skills and expertise along the way.

My marketing journey began in the dynamic world of local newspaper classifieds advertising at the Yuma Sun. Concurrently, I pursued coursework in business, marketing, and advertising while completing my Bachelor's in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from Northern Arizona University. This foundational experience laid the groundwork for my career in marketing.

Following my academic pursuits, I embarked on an exciting adventure in destination marketing. For three years, I served as a Marketing Specialist for the Groups department at the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau. There, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the vibrant tourism industry, promoting the beauty and attractions of Monterey County to businesses and visitors worldwide.

However, when the pandemic brought unprecedented changes, I found myself returning to my roots in Yuma, Arizona. Undeterred, I embraced the opportunity to continue my journey in destination marketing as a Marketing Specialist for the Yuma Visitors Bureau. This role allowed me to further deepen my expertise in tourism marketing while reconnecting with my hometown community.

Eager to expand my horizons, I transitioned into the corporate world as a Marketing Analyst in Paychex, Inc.'s Multicultural Department. This experience provided invaluable insights into multicultural marketing strategies and corporate marketing dynamics.

Now, armed with a wealth of experience and a passion for culinary arts, travel, tourism, and health and wellness, I'm thrilled to embark on the next chapter of my career as a freelance marketer. My goal is to leverage my diverse background and expertise to help businesses thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of digital marketing.
